I'm not exactly a Java software engineer so I'm sorry but can't give you an example for how the bug is caused, also due to the fact that I can't get much info on this it usually just hangs, the javaw.exe or java.exe process hangs, stops working, and gets automatically closed. I looked into it, reported a few bug reports to mojang and they eventually reached the conclusion that it was jvm.dll having errors, I'll leave a quote in the bug reports section. In Minecraft, it has recently started crashing without any reason, not one I could pinpoint anyway. Video card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 NVIDIA driver version: 375.95.
